Connect a cloud account
- 1
Open a FilesMonkey converter and select Google Drive or OneDrive in the upload area.
- 2
Select Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.
- 3
Sign in to the provider and review the requested permission.
- 4
After authorization, browse the available folders and select the file you want to import.
- 5
Wait for the import to finish before starting the conversion.
What FilesMonkey accesses
Cloud access is used to list the folders and files available to the authorized account and to download the file you select for conversion. Imported files follow the same processing and retention rules as files uploaded from your device.
If the sign-in window does not open
- Allow pop-ups for FilesMonkey in your browser.
- Disable strict tracking protection for the sign-in attempt, then re-enable it afterward.
- Make sure third-party cookies or identity-provider redirects are not blocked.
- Retry in the same browser tab rather than opening multiple authorization windows.
If authorization returns to the homepage
Return to the converter and open the cloud provider again. A successful connection should display the folder browser. If it does not, sign out of the cloud provider, reconnect, and confirm that the FilesMonkey callback URL is allowed by the provider account.
- For Google Drive, confirm the selected Google account granted Drive file access.
- For OneDrive, confirm the Microsoft application supports your account type—personal, work, or school.
Disconnect access
You can revoke FilesMonkey from the connected-apps or security area of your Google or Microsoft account. Revoking access prevents future imports until you authorize the connection again.
